Our Cerchar Machine is advanced and competitively priced. Our Cerchar system has been upgraded and includes a digital microscope (USB Digital Imaging Unit) and CAT software which can be run in manual or automatic measurement mode.
The ErgoTech Cerchar apparatus is supplied complete with USB Digital Imaging Unit and 1 off user licence for the ErgoTech CAT (Cerchar Abrasiveness Testing) Software for tool wear flat measurement and CAI calculation. Units are supplied as standard with 50 off each of HRC 40/42 and HRC 54/56 double pointed scriber test tools for a total of 100 measurements (i.e. 2 per tool).
Design embodies the principles established in the paper "Rock Abrasiveness Testing for Tunnelling” – West, G. (1989)
