The ErgoTech Compact Instrumented Triaxial Cell is a single entry multi-dimension device. It accepts Ø1” & Ø1.5” test jackets with bonded standoffs at 4 positions, 90° equispaced around the circumference of the test sample. The standoffs can accommodate a Universal 2 Channel Cantilever Transducer.

The acoustic velocity system is made up of two, three channel (P, S1 & S2) acoustic velocity transducers, integrally built in the axial platens. The Ø1.5” Platens are designed in such a way that Ø1” cores can be tested if the precision ground 0.25” wall thickness over sleeving is applied.
